Examining the suitability of commercially available LEDs for the nanosecond time domain
Vincent Haude, Alexander Rolapp
Abstract:
This work aims to provide a deeper look into which influences are responsible for off-the-shelf light emitting diodes (LEDs) being suited for microsecond time domain switching applications while not being as suited for nanosecond switching applications. Additionally, a selection guide for choosing the best suited off-the-shelf LEDs for individual applications is included.
