AI Summer Connect 2026
Vom Sensor zur Entscheidung: Souveräne Datenverarbeitung auf eingebetteten Systemen (From sensor to decision: Seamless data processing on embedded systems)
Sebastian Uziel
Abstract:
Retaining control over your own data: Edge processing enhances this control by processing data locally, close to where it is generated – not in the cloud. Privacy by Design integrates data protection into hardware and software from the outset, ensuring that only the information generated actually leaves the device. Challenges include energy consumption, limited storage and real-time requirements. The presentation will showcase solutions such as data reduction, compression and embedded AI to reduce the data stream at sensors and edge devices, thereby conserving resources.
