Rapid Prototyping Platform for Embedded System Solutions

Embedded world 2014, Hall 5, Booth 276.

At the embedded world 2014 fair IMMS presents a new rapid prototyping solution which is built on top of the energy-efficient BASe-Box platform presented last year. Interfacing of sensors and actuators is realized via breakout field or extension interfaces compatible with PmodTM, ArduinoTM and other standards. Additionally, the system offers a wide-range power-suppy (6-36V), a breadboard area and access to several low-speed interfaces like SPI, UART, I2C and GPIO.

The option of interfacing with modules from COTS development systems facilitates fast and cost-saving design and test of Linux based applications. Target markets of this rapid prototyping platform are prototype devices, small batch series and scientific instruments where the platform fulfills typical requirements like industrial fitness and sophisticated housing options and therefore is going beyond the scope of popular development platforms.
