New Head of Industrial Electronics and Measurement Engineering

We are pleased to introduce Mr. Michael Meister as head of the Industrial Electronics and Measurement Technology (IEM) department. In 2001 he came to IMMS as a student and became a research associate there in 2004. Mr. Meister has already worked with many of our partners at IMMS as team leader for sensor and optronics in the field of optoelectronic measurement technology and has successfully led various projects. On June 1, 2018, Mr. Meister took over from Dr. Klaus Förster, who had retired the day before.

Numerous colleagues had accepted the invitation to look back on 20 years at IMMS with Mr. Förster and to give him many good wishes for the new chapter in his life. The management and the team of IMMS would like to thank Mr. Förster for many years of very committed work and a cooperation which was characterised by trust and great reliability. It is the pleasure and obligation of IMMS to continue to successfully achieve the goals he has set out.
