New financial managing director at IMMS

As of February 1, 2019, Dipl.-Kfm. Martin Eberhardt is the financial managing director of IMMS.

In 2017, Mr. Eberhardt transferred the operation of the Clausthaler Umwelttechnik-Institut GmbH (CUTEC) to the Technical University of Clausthal as interim managing director. Prior to this, he was financial director of CUTEC GmbH of Lower Saxony for several years, which, as a bridge between science and industry, transferred research results into applications in the field of environmental technology. In addition, Mr. Eberhardt was managing director and held various commercial management positions in industry.

Mr. Eberhardt contributes this experience to his position as commercial director of the IMMS, which closes the gap between scientific research results and products with application-oriented preliminary research in microelectronics, systems technology and mechatronics, thus building a bridge between science and industry.

Mr. Eberhardt has taken over the financial management of IMMS from Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Kelm, who has retired. Mr. Kelm joined IMMS in 1998 and had been its financial director since 2000.

The management and the team of IMMS thank Mr. Kelm for over 20 years of outstanding commitment and for a cooperation which was characterised by openness, great reliability and trust. Due to his long service with the company, Mr. Kelm has accompanied many developments from the very beginning and has shaped the profile of the institute. IMMS will implement and extend many of the goals and processes he has identified and initiated.
