Mechatronics
At the IMMS uni-axle and multi-axle precision drive systems for diverse application fields are designed, assembled, analysed and tested. These are e.g. systems for
- laser precision processing
- material testing
- wafer inspection
- lithography
- coordinate measuring technology.
Besides the constructive 3D-design the partly very complex and heterogeneous systems are optimized on the basis of modelling and simulation, which allows a good and reliable prediction of the system behaviour e.g. as regards mechanical deformation, dynamics and magnetic or thermal behaviour and reduces the number of design cycles to a minimum. For handling research and development projects our experts are provided with a great number of software tools as well as solid metrological equipment and infrastructure.
We offer our customers the advantage of getting a general solution from the idea over design, layout, construction and testing to product realisation from one hand.
For that we offer a very broad knowledge in the fields of
- electromagnetic drive technology
- aerostatic and magnetic bearings and guidings
- optical and laser interferometric measuring technology
- modelling and simulation of multi-physical problem definitions
- as well as control and identification of complex systems.
Further emphases are put on
- Linux – based drive control units as well as
- work on the configuration of nm positioning and measuring systems.
